What's new?

  • Web based installer
  • Content filtering in admin panel
  • RSS feeds
  • Improved Settings
  • Bug fixes (including an important one for ACL plugin - by @finjonkiang)

What's next?

There are a number of things I want to add to this CMS. Here is a short list:

  • i18n: Internationalization
  • Extensions: for uploading themes, plugins, language packs right from the admin panel
  • Theme editor
  • Users: this requires more work
  • OpenID
  • Forum plugin
  • Cache: for better performance

Hopefully next version will include unit tests.

New release of Croogo coming this month

Hey guys, a new release of Croogo will be available for download this month. A lot of improvements have been made in the repository, but I still noticed people downloading the old 'zip' file.

The official repository is on Github. But I will maintain the svn repository on Google Code too (updated weekly).

I am Fahad, you may also know me as 'fahad19' - the username I use on many websites. This is my blog that I have developed over the last couple of months. And, I have made it open source too. You can visit the project homepage here.
